I’m a Brooklyn-based floral designer with a background in fine art (drawing + painting). For the past four years, I’ve studied ikebana under the O’Hara School’s New York chapter and currently practice at an instructor level. I believe that flowers are a great way to punctuate a person’s home, describe space, mark time, and help maintain our connection to nature. For me, floral design is a medium for artistic expression—flowers are how I communicate, and the messages change with the seasons.
